About Jude Foster


Jude Foster was awarded a Churchill Fellowship for 2006 for the development of the Wrap Around Kids Program.  She is Chief Executive Officer and Chairwoman of miVitals Technology Pty Ltd a technology company she has founded following her Churchill Fellowship.

Jude is a Registered Nurse, an endorsed GP trainer and President of the Learning Difficulties Coalition of NSW, the peak advocacy body for families of children with AD/HD and associated conditions that impact school. 

Her experience as a health professional, research coordinator and particularly as a parent of  children with ADHD, highlighted the difficulties  for many families of : retelling their story over and over, of misunderstandings occurring at school and of the need to develop a sustainable program of support.

Jude established a company Fostering Partnerships in 2000  to develop what is now known as the Wrap Around Kids program which is now established in 20 Australian schools with interest from Canada USA and Scotland in establishing the program. Underpinning the program is Wrap Around Kids™ OnLine (WAKOL), a multi level internet based application which enables families to centralise storage of their child's records and authorise access for other professionals involved in management. 

Wrap Around Kids was awarded a National Quality Use of Medicine Award in 2003 by the National Prescribing Service. It was also acknowledged in the NSW Department of Education Inquiry into Early Intervention of Learning Difficulties where it was recommended that “The Departments of health and education should explore the broad implementation of Wrap AroundKids in NSW schools”.
