RN, RM, A&E Cert, Grad Cert Sc Hlth Pol & Mgmt), Grad Cert PEN, Grad Dip VET, TNCC, ENPC, studying Grad Dip Proj Mgmt  

Trained at Royal North Shore Hospital and worked in the spinal unit as a new graduate.

Moved into emergency nursing in 1984 at RNSH and then Manly Hospital where she became a clinical nurse specialist (CNS).

After 3 years she returned to RNSH to do midwifery.

After this became Nurse Unit Manager Level 1 of the Emergency Dept at Royal South Sydney Hospital, then NUM Level 111 of Emergency Dept at Canterbury Hospital.

From here she returned to clinical emergency nursing and again became a CNS at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Moved to Coffs Harbour in 1998 and worked in emergency at Coffs Harbour Base Hospital and Baringa Hospital until becoming a clinical Nurse Consultant Level 111 (CNC) for Critical Care for the Mid north Coast Area Health Service.

After fours years she took up the position of full time teacher at TAFE NSW NCI and is now the Head Teacher of Nursing / Aged Care for TAFE NSW North Coast Institute.
