Kolleen Miller-Rosser, E.N., R.N., Graduate Diploma (Pediatrics), MsHlth Sc
I began my nursing career as an enrolled nurse. Then studied at The University of Western Sydney where I achieved a Diploma of Nursing. I worked at the Royal North Shore Hospital, and while there undertook my Graduate Diploma in Paediatrics. I then moved to the then Camperdown Hospital, now the Westmead Children’s Hospital, and worked there until I made the decision to travel abroad.
In 1996 I began work in King Fahad National Guard Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia , where I started as a staff nurse 1 (RN) equivalent. After 3 years of working as a staff nurse , I transferred to the Professional Development Program, where I became a Nurse Educator / Clinical Instructor working with the Saudi Nurses. When the program was amalgamated into the Nursing College, I moved to King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, where I took up the position of Education Coordinator for Maternal Child Nursing.
